Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Court Crowd: Find Pickleball account and associated data. You can delete your account directly from within the app, or request deletion by contacting us.

Option 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Court Crowd mobile app:

  1. Open the Court Crowd app on your iOS or Android device
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon in the top right)
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your deletion request when prompted

Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you no longer have access to the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact us at:

We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once complete.

⚠️ Important: Account Deletion is Permanent

Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your Court Crowd data, including your profile, game history, check-ins, messages, and any subscription benefits. This action cannot be undone.

What Data is Deleted

When you delete your Court Crowd account, we permanently delete the following data:

Data Deleted Immediately

  • Your profile information (name, email, photo, skill level, bio)
  • Your location history and check-in records
  • Your game history and activity logs
  • Your in-app messages and conversations
  • Your friend connections and social graph
  • Your notification preferences and device tokens
  • Any photos you uploaded (profile pictures, court photos)
  • Your saved courts and favorites

Data Retention & Exceptions

In limited cases, certain data may be retained for legal, security, or business purposes:

Data That May Be Retained

  • Transaction records: Subscription and payment history may be retained for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention purposes as required by law (typically 7 years)
  • Legal compliance: Data subject to legal holds, court orders, or regulatory requirements
  • Security logs: Anonymized security and abuse-prevention logs (IP addresses, device fingerprints) may be retained for up to 90 days
  • Aggregated analytics: Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you

All other data is deleted immediately and permanently. We do not retain backup copies of deleted user data beyond our standard backup retention period (30 days), after which all backups containing your data are also purged.

Third-Party Services

Court Crowd uses third-party services (e.g., Supabase for data storage, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Expo for notifications). When you delete your account:
